startling colours--dark yet light, can't figure it out, hahaha

@Nante Santamaria: The colours (and lightness) were aided by three filters; one of them helped to create the red/orange tinge. Thanks for your comment. :)
@MK: Thanks MK. Those cliffs are a significant landmark and famous in these parts (yeeha!). I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks for your visit.
What time of day was this taken? It's so interesting. Very pretty colors!

@Brittney: It was taken at sunset, although I used three filters at varying gradients to achieve the look you see here. It took a while to mess around in order to get the desired result but the foreground lightness finally came through. Thanks for the visit. :)
Amazing photo, really great detail and colours. I'll stop by again to see your new photos.

@Scarabaeus: Thanks. The positive words are greatly appreciated. I hope you get a moment to come back and peruse some more as I have a few more worldly delights to share. Thanks for the visit.
Amazing tones in the sky Sashmeister, and such a smooth gradient with no artefacting. A fine shot mate, arousal and dilated vessels all-round. 'nuff said.

@Stu: I get hard too, yet the junk mail for improved stiffness keeps flooding in. ;p
