@DarkElf: Cheers mate. I have found it to be an exceptional all-round camera; portraits are equally as sensational if you ask me. The world of possibilities that the 105mm has opened up (for me) are in the world of macro. The other evening I went out at dusk and captured some amazing macros of blades of grass and flowers swaying in the breeze. It just so happens that there was an awesome sunset in the background which supplied the surreal backdrop that I had been hoping for. I shall post a few photos as soon as I get a moment.
