Just another day at the office

Posted by Sash (Adelaide, Australia) on 31 October 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

My first foray into the world of photography involved taking macro photos of plants and insects, back in the days when my wife and I were living in Japan. That was with a 4MP Canon IXY (aka IXUS). Since then, I haven't done anything remotely macro oriented because I haven't had the equipment with which to do it. That all changed recently when I invested in a 105mm macro lens (Sigma). To date, I'd go so far as to say that it's the bee's knees. :D

Please honk if you'd like to see more macro shots. Cheers.
