'Is this right, daddy?'

She still needs to work on discerning left from right, but the rest seems to be in order. ;)

Thanks to my brother-in-law, who lent me his 70-300mm lens, I've managed to try out a few 'new' things. This is the first installment of portraits/candids that I've taken recently as a way of improving my photography of people.

Please note that this photo was a genuine candid-no direction from me or posing by my daughter. Aside from that, any suggestions of how I could improve or, indeed, anything that you feel is okay about this image are greatly appreciated.
