This is fantastic - and I really appreciate the reference to Shawna's blog entry. I'm going to try it as well. Any suggestions as to what works best for a starting point?

@Bill Jennings: Hi Bill. Thanks for the compliment. As far as content goes, I'm still trying to work out what original information was on Shawna's pieces as I haven't been able to produce anything with similar patterns to what she has created. In short, I'm of the opinion that the subject matter itself is the key component to getting the visual effect. The two images I've posted here have flowers as the main subject with a natural backdrop to provide additional colouration. I've done several others with various subjects that I have yet to post and they've all turned out completely differently. It's fun seeing what happens so I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself as much as I have.
