Leanne & Adam's Wedding 2

@Stu: Thanks Art. Good to hear you've seen sense in such an investment. I haven't utilised the 3200 ISO (yet) although I partly blame a lack of severely deep caves in my local area for this. Mind you as soon as I spend $130 on a remote switch that's compatible with the 50D I'll be out and about again hunting down sunrise and sunset shots worthy of ejaculatory celebration. You know the type I mean. ;)

@DarkElf: Thanks mate. That tells me that you've nailed the intended purpose of this photo. Leanne's a naturally beautiful woman and I felt she deserved an equally natural backdrop in order to show off her vibrance.

@Laurie: This one was about Leanne's vibrance, not her attire.

@amy: Ha-ha! Thanks Amy. With regards to my response to Kyoto Stu...For the record, I got that remote switch and have captured at least one sunrise shot worthy of ejaculatory celebration. I guess the only question that remains is have I celebrated yet? Some things are best left to stew. :D

@Laurie: Cheers Laurie. I think with the help of hindsight-and being a former student of journalism, where brevity is king-my initial response may have been interpreted as somewhat hostile or abrupt. I assure you that it was not intended to seem that way. For the sake of explanation, I deliberately kept all parts of Leanne's dress out of this photo because I felt it clashed with the background. Being so intricate, and full of contrast (black on white), the bodice needed a solid or plain background. Instead, I made the executive decision (in this imaginary multinational company comprising one) to make it solely about the skin tones and facial features. The tilt of the shoulders was deliberate so that the necklace could be visible but that was all that I wanted to capture in this particular photo. Had the background been less chaotic, I would have DEFINITELY included the top portion of her wedding dress. Again, I apologise if my initial response seemed out of line. I am new to this game and do take on board the suggestions and recommendations of those that have been playing longer than me. :)
