The apple of my eyePosted by Sash (Adelaide, Australia) on 22 February 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. This is a recent photo of my daughter, C. We have had a good run of heading to the local playground/park on Sunday mornings, although this photo was taken in the evening as the sun was beginning to edge itself below the line of the trees. I recently 'invested' in a Canon EOS 50D, and must admit to feeling as though I've been cheating on my wife ever since. Though I admit to succumbing to the dirtier elements of lust rather than a more lasting feeling of love, I fear I may be out of my depth with my 'new lady'. Still, one can't be expected to improve one's performance without constant practicing. I'm crossing all fingers and toes that this affair will see steady improvement out in the field. I've been asked to photograph the wedding of a dear friend's sister in April and have, therefore, decided to devote more time trying to photograph people between now and then. While I endeavour to improve my ability to take candid images rather than posed ones, I hope you'll find the time to comment and suggest ways that I can improve this newly chosen path of mine. More people shots to follow. Thanks for visiting. - Sash Contact: sashkertes at gmail dot com
