The magician & the apprentice

My daughter C and her second cousin T attended a magicians' convention last weekend. C was so proud of what she had learned about anti-gravitational pull that she dismantled the theory of relativity...Before my very eyes.

When asked if she could use her newly acquired prowess of mind-versus-matter dexterity if her toys happened to endanger the well-being of the polished floorboards at home, she replied thrice in her inimitable way; 'No-no-no.'

How does one argue with that?
