Salamanca

Posted by Sash (Adelaide, Australia) on 1 September 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

This is a scene in the heart of Hobart's waterfront at around 5 am. While Salamanca is home to one of the most famous markets in Australia, there was barely a soul around at the time I was there, so finding a few seconds to compose myself and a few frames of the surroundings didn't seem all that difficult.

I like how the light filters through to both sides of the tree yet somehow manages to elude the benches.
