Seconds before sunrise over Lake Alexandrina.
Help yourself to the blue cheese, but stay away from the green one.

@DarkElf: Thanks again mate. Positive feedback such as that certainly makes one feel proud. :)

Gorgeous colors. Powerful feeling here.

@Laurie: Thanks Laurie. It was a shambles actually getting the finished product - and also a long story that I won't bore you with - but I'm really pleased with the way it turned out as it gives a true reflection (pardon the pun) of how magnificent the scene was in real life. Scrambling in gumboots for close to a kilometre over sandy terrain never felt so good. :)
Holy shit Batman!!! This is one of the best shots I have ever seen from you mate!! I freaken love it, the light, the line in the cloud, the vibrant colour, the perfect reflection, everything...how long ago was this?? Do you have anymore?? Fuck me that's nice....did I mention that I like it...abit...alright a fair bit...

@Dachimas: Maaaaaaaaaate! Thanks for the kind words, but you should know by now that moments of such magnificence are not due to the snap-happy bozo that happens to be there at the time; these moments are created by the lady of the grand stage herself: Mother Nature. The world is a stage and I am but a mere twat with an itchy index finger leaning on a tiny round button.
For the record, I took this on the day that I had to walk that mega long distance to get to the water. It was the same day that those mysterious flecks of crap appeared on the lens and I had to scurry for my Panasonic to complete the job. I found the healing tool on PS and went about doing the best I could (there are still a couple of obvious blemishes in the top left of this image). Yes, I do have more: I'll post another one tomorrow for you to have a chook at. Pretty f%*ken spectacular cloud formation, innit? ;p
OK, apply everything I just said about tmw's post to this one too. Freakin' awesomely spectacular. Hats off and on bended knee here mate.

@Stu: You'll do anything for a knighthood, won't you Sir Stu?
It's a humbling experience each time you visit. Speaking of which, when will you be round these parts (points index fingers at earth beneath his feet) again? I do believe you've yet to sample from the earthly delights that my home town has to offer. If you're keen on 40-degree temperatures for weeks on end then bring yer sunscreen as it's been the type of heat that only lizards and select types of rocks can handle. In short, we're all going to be dead soon so you should come and fare us well.
:(
!!!! (again, wow!)
