That was then, this is now (2 of plenty)

This is the second photo in a series of shots I took in the last week of 2007 at Pt Willunga, here in South Australia. It's a slightly different angle from the previous shot, and the emphasis is more on the foreground where the backwash from the surf shimmers from the distant sun.

G'day mate, long time no see. You've been busy I see!! This is spectacular!! The foreground has great interest and light, the sun and clouds sets of the spectacularness (good word huh!!?) Superb colour and ambience!! That camera must suit you btw!!

Lovely, Sashmeister, just lovely. That orange tone in the sky sends goosebumps of almost carnal pleasure coursing through unexpected areas, and is a sight for sore eyes for all those who want to know about good photography but were afraid to ask. Shoot to thrill baby!

@Stu: We come in peace - shoot to thrill, shoot to thrill, shoot to thrill. 'Unexpected areas' my arse, Stu (pun intended). You expected carnal pleasure in those areas, and you knew where to seek the source for such pleasure. It's like Hicks' rant of being knocked into an adult books store...mag...money...hotel...bin...prying open face-up etc.

@Lilly: Cheers Lilly. Up until a few days ago this was the wallpaper on my computer at home. I've replaced it with a gorgeous photo of my 15-month-old daughter being bombarded with water by her mum (it's been VERY hot around here for about two weeks). I'm very tempted to post a few images from that wonderful moment.

Thanks for your visit and foray into my portfolio. Thanks also for leaving a few thoughts around the place. The gesture is greatly appreciated. :D
