These lovely girls from the Black Hmong community were wandering in the opposite direction when they linked hands and asked us for a pen. As we did not have a pen at the time they were rather dissapointed and wished to be on their merry way. I requested a photo with my trusty - and sneaky - IXY to which they replied 'No Photo!' as they turned to look the other way.
This image was taken at chest level without the composition I had hoped for, although I'm pleased with the way the moment itself was captured as we were mid-sentence debating why it would be a beneficial thing for me to get a photo of them.
Taken on a trail approximately 30km from Sapa, northern Vietnam.
Help yourself to the blue cheese, but stay away from the green one.
it turned out to be an amazing shot
