'I'm thinking it's a sign That the freckles in our eyes Are mirror images And when we kiss they're perfectly aligned' - The Postal Service
Photo taken during a recent sunrise over Lake Alexandrina, South Australia. Filters and gum boots used to create what thou see'eth.
NOTE: This is part of a series although this particular photo (and the next few to be posted) was taken on a different morning to the previous two posts as I had water spots all over my lens without knowing it on the first occasion. It's as the old adage goes: if at first...and all that jazz. Also, please take the time to visit my mate Dachimas who recently joined AM3 and who shared in the breathtaking beauty of this location. He has a sensational eye for landscapes / waterscapes, so be sure to check out his work.
Help yourself to the blue cheese, but stay away from the green one.
Fantastisches Foto!

@Miso: Miso, I wish everyone was there to see this beautiful scene. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate that you visited. :)
Man! Your past few posts of these peaceful and calm landscapes are awesome! Just love the colors and tone of the sky! The water, extremely peaceful! Subtle.. Very good work!

@Josh: Thanks for the kind words, Josh. This was the second time I ventured to this place at sunrise. The calmness you mentioned was almost surreal; the only sounds in the vicinity were from native bird species awakening. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water as calm as this. Thanks for your visit and comment. :)
Beautiful colors, light and reflections!

Great colors processing and the 'mirrored' phenomenon.

Sublimely beautiful, Sash!! And after the rotten day I've had, I needed this.

@amy: Happy to oblige, Amy.
The negative thoughts that were present were nullified during this encounter with a natural phenomenon the universe delivers to us each day. It's a simple way of cleansing yet I'm constantly kicking myself (I'll take a photo of my ass to prove it if you're interested) for not partaking in the moment more frequently. :)
Love the colours you captured, the water looks so smooth, and the light just perfect

@Richard_Irwin: Cheers Richard. I used three filters with this one (two were polarising + grad) and waited for the mini 'waves' I made by walking to that spot to subside prior to taking the photo. I recommend a pair of gum boots to every budding landscape photographer. Did you know that the term gum boots is apparently a euphemism for a condom in certain reaches of our universe? I didn't prior to this series of photos. :)
Amazing colors and a nice composition in this photo! Well done!

The water is still, the colours are gorgeous and the angle just the right one. Perfecto! Great job.

@Tse Min: Thank you very much Tse Min. That's very kind of you. :)
Man, what sweet Burning Globe appearance documentation. What everyone else said.

Probably the best so far mate, wish I had come with on the 2nd trip. The sun at the end of the fenceline is perfect!! Really top notch effort, just needs a big white border to top it off!! ;p (Thanks for the plug too BTW)
