@Morris J. Chisholm: Thanks Morris. I didn't realise "gum boots" had a different meaning in the northern reaches of the Americas. You see, down here they're the attire we slip our feet into when we don't want them to get wet (or when we're in the back yard trying to avoid cow pats).

The colours are truly amazing. Ya done did good bhoy! Even with the barbed wire which (to me) represents intrusion/pain/closing in... it's contradictorily a serene and calm image. Make sense?

(I always keep rubbers in my trunk.. don't you just love coloquial differences in how we speak? LOL)

@amy: Coloquial differences make the world go round (or up and down depending on the presence of gum boots). Yes, I have made sense from your contradictorially inspired representation, and I need to add how cool the use of contradiction in adverbial form is: IT'S SOOOOOOOOO COOL! There, I said it...

PS A trunk is a "boot" round here which, incidentally, is where I keep my gum boots (too) ;p

@Shar: Yes, the difference in meaning was pointed out to me (for the first time, I might add) earlier in this comments thread. Hmm... I meant the kind of gum boots that feet look forward to slipping into during those overly moist moments and wasn't aspiring for a universally recognisable double entendre. Having stated that, I've learnt something new and plan to use this newly acquired knowledge in a most dastardly way. But not yet...I'll bide my time...For now... :)
