Quietly defiant

Amidst the chaos of the day, he relocated to a lofty perch, sat back in comfort, and soaked up the nervous tension all around him.

There wouldn't be a repeat of such quiet defiance.

RIP Birdman.

@amy: Subtlety is my forte. I blend 3 parts subtlety with one part uber assertiveness then mix it with a dash of lime juice. Kapow!

Beautiful silhouette Sash. Love how that bird is so small - it really draws the eye in. Was going to ask if this was more work with the filters but then noticed it was the trusty IXY. A fine camera, that. Walking with a swagger?

@Stu: Yeah, mate. I specifically wanted a small bird for this shot as a pteradactyl or condor would have ruined the illusion of the sky being immense.

For the record: What the IXY saw and what you see are two extremes of the same coin. I caned the foreground into submission until it was dark around the eyes which affected the background to where it was a mirror image of the theological argument upon which creationism is based. In a way, I was Reginald Denny here; I wasn't stoppping for anyone until I got to where I had to be.

More correspondence, please. Now that I have a taste of it, I want...No...I demand more. :D
