Fuji-san as a boy

This is Mt Fuji, ladies and gentlemen. During three glorious years in Japan, I climbed it once. During the same period in the same place, I gawked at it in the manner of an awestruck boy gawking at a freshly made chocolate cake through a shop window. I did the latter several hundred times.

I prefer gawking at Mt Fuji to climbing it. But that's just me.

PS I haven't had time lately to creep around and perve on people's images. However, that's about to change in the next week which will mean a significant increase in the amount of words pouring from the tips of my fingers and onto your site. Be warned: There's a backlog of words demanding to be freed from the confines of my otherwise spacious cranium. You could be on the receiving end of this potential dam breakage so have an umbrella at hand.
