Evidence of life was scattered amidst the chaos of death.
Location: Kangaroo Island, SA, Australia; part of a salt encrusted lagoon series I've been posting of late. Check out previous day <<- for more.
Help yourself to the blue cheese, but stay away from the green one.
Fantastic sense of composition and colour. Subjects are also very interesting, nice work!

@Chris Sullivan: Thanks very much, Chris. A friend and I spent about 2.5 hours out there that day. I've got a few more in the series that I'd like to post so I hope you find time to have another look at them.
nice one, a place of solitude

@Dimitrios: It certainly is. There were two people there that morning, a friend and me. We had the place all to ourselves for 2.5 hours and we took about 200 photos between us. : )
Thanks for your comment, Dimitrios.

@Kheoh Yee Wei: I'm glad you like it. Thanks for visiting and commenting. I appreciate it. : )
Great lighting, very dramatic sky!

@Lydia: Thanks, Lydia. This was taken about thirty minutes after sunrise that morning. The foreground was lit up like a christmas tree while the background's main feature was the ominous rain clouds (which passed over with minimal fuss). I appreciate you stopping by and commenting. Cheers.
Great contrast between the dark clouds and the white salt. That knackered old tree is nicely positioned too. A very sweet shot Sash.

@Stu: I love this one, too. As I stated in a previous response, I messed about with the contrast and sharpness (a good habit to get into) but the rest is all part of mother nature's infinitely superior canvas.
Great colours! Well composed. Kangaroo Island is somewhere I would really like to get to.

@Jason Walsh: My family and I went over for a wedding. Although we stayed for four days, it was nowhere near long enough to experience all the breathtaking sights the island has to offer. Get yourself down there at some point as it's thoroughly worth the effort.
Thanks for the comment, mate.
Oh wow, this is a fantastic shot.
